The Build
Crocs requested different shapes and sizes of realistic moss mounds for use propping up shoes in their new Classic Crafted Clog campaign.
the challenge
The set had to be designed in modular pieces so it could be transported through a standard-sized doorway and assembled on site.
The structure need to be secure enough to support human weight, yet mobile enough to be set-up and disassembled in less than an hour.
The concept required three unique character doors that could be swapped out within the same frame. Each door had custom cut window shapes, unique knobs, and individual details like wooden panels and a mail slot.
Considerations
Each of the pieces needed to be unique, not just a copy and paste of the same shape and size. The moss mounds also needed to look realistic with varying terrain textures so it didn’t feel too flat or one-note.
