Southern-raised and always working with my hands. I’m an artist at heart, woodworker by craft, architect by education, and bar and restaurant owner by accident.
At present, I like to spend most of my time in my mountain cabin by the creek. Designing, creating, and building projects, mostly out of wood, and always with my dogs hanging out somewhere nearby (the cat comes and goes).

Education & BAckground
I received my Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). After graduation, I did what all great architects ought not to do and moved to Los Angeles to work as a motorcycle mechanic instead. An opportunity to build and run my own bar beckoned me to Denver, and then along came a restaurant. Colfax has been my community home base; I serve as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Bluebird Business Improvement District.
